In addition to its innovative approach, the company received wide recognition and its participation in the “EmprendeUCO” entrepreneurship program was highlighted by a special mention from the jury.
Likewise, he received the “Emilio Botín 2023” Prize, awarded by the Campus of International Agri-Food Excellence (ceiA3) in collaboration with the Universities of Santander, whose aim is to encourage the creation of agri-food companies that contribute to innovation in the sector.
“Thanks to this support, the project became reality,” emphasizes José Pérez Baena, founder and CEO of Yo, Baco, who comments that the objective is “to allow people to experience the pleasure of creating their own wine, by allowing them to personalize every step of the process“. So, he says, they want them to “enjoy the wine journey, without barriers or complexity, from the comfort of their home.”
With the incorporation of YoBaco Experiences SL, the project takes a decisive step towards its expansion and consolidation in the market. The company aims to bring its products to a level wider audiencefirst throughout the national territory and later in Europe.
In this regard, he believes that “the excellent initial reception and customer loyalty are indicative of the potential and acceptance of these unique experiences in the wine market”.
