The Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports, Carmen Teresa Olmedo, indicated that this resolution will be published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha next Monday and has a budget of almost 300,000 euros.
He Government of Castile-La Mancha will award 107 grants this year for the organization of sporting events of particular interest in the region.
It was put forward by Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports, Carmen Teresa Olmedoduring her participation in the III Cyclocross ‘Ciudad de Tarancón’ which takes place this weekend and where she was accompanied by the mayor of the city, José Manuel López Carrizo.
Carmen Teresa Olmedo indicated that this resolution will be published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha next Monday and that it will have a a budget of nearly 300,000 euros which was used to finance events.
This call allowed this year in Castile-La Mancha to celebrate 22 Spanish championships, five European championships and one world championship, among othersthe Council reported in a press release.
The Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports explained that this is a special appeal for Castilla-La Mancha because “we are celebrating the European Sports Region with more than 2,000 activities and an economic impact of more than 30 million euros.
The III Ciudad de Tarancón Cyclocross is part of the Spanish Cup calendar this year and brought together more than 700 participants in a space of 3,100 square meters with the participation of the best in the country in their specialty.
Carmen Teresa Olmedo highlighted what it means for the city of Tarancón to host the Spanish Cyclocross Championship in 2026, which, in her opinion, highlights the work carried out by the Club Training Area with the collaboration also between administrations.
