The Junta de Castilla y León will pay starting this Monday, November 11 and for the rest of the month, more than 12 million euros in aid for the integration of young people and the modernization of farms agriculture and livestock breeding of the Community.
This is the third payment under this aid line so far this year, with which the 38.5 million euros for nearly 1,100 beneficiaries, to which a fourth payment will be added in December, as specified by the regional executive in a press release collected by Europa Press.
The aid which will be introduced from this Monday and which will be used to improve the structures of 326 agricultural operations aims to fulfill one of the fundamental objectives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development for the mandate in course.contribute to generational change and job creation in rural areas.
Likewise, it contributes to promoting the sustainable development of businesses in rural areas, strengthening the competitiveness of the sector, increasing the quality of life of professionals in the sector through effective resource management, and promoting adaptation to change climate and its mitigation, such as greenhouse gas emissions. emissions are reduced, as indicated by the Office.
Concretely, in this payment for the month of November, 1.9 million euros will be paid for establishment aid to 75 young farmers and 10.2 million euros to 251 farm owners to make investments.
Of these, 8.6 million euros correspond to aid for improvement plans, 1.3 million euros were devoted to subsidizing projects to digitize agricultural holdings and 320,000 euros to the implementation of renewable energies.
Regarding the productive orientation, 63 percent of the subsidies correspond to agricultural operations, dedicated mainly to the production of arable crops, cereals, oilseeds and protein crops; 24.2 to livestock breeding, mainly dedicated to beef cattle, dairy pigs and dairy cattle; and the remaining 12.8 percent to mixed crop and livestock farms.
