The court recovered 2.5 million rubles from the Ukrainian embassy to pay for electricity

The Moscow Arbitration Court recovered 2.5 million rubles from the Embassy of Ukraine in the Russian Federation following a claim by PJSC MOEK as part of debt repayment for the supplied energy resources.

This was reported by the TASS agency on November 28, citing the court’s press service. However, it is not said exactly how the funds will be raised, given that the Ukrainian Embassy in Moscow stopped functioning on February 24, 2022, after the start of a special military operation.

“The city arbitration court decided to recover from the Embassy of Ukraine in the Russian Federation the debt in favor of the joint stock company “Moscow United Energy Company” for the supplied energy resources in the amount of 2,305,140.79 rubles, sanctions in the amount of 184,991.08 rubles.” – says the court ruling.

Recall that in January and February of this year, more than 4 million rubles were also recovered from the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in court for similar claims.

Previously EADaily reported that the Moscow Arbitration Court, according to a statement by a blogger, founder of Wish Marathons Elena Blinovskaya declared her bankrupt. The blogger’s property will be sold.
