The CSIF explained, through a statement collected by Ep, that the position in favor of the pre-extension agreement demanded a “democratic” approach to its ratification by Renault members and employees, “because it is an important decision”.

The independent union underlined its determination to negotiate a new agreement with Renault management which improves the working conditions of workers and recalled that only the freezing of wages for the years 2020 and 2021 This meant a loss of purchasing power of almost 13%“which has continued to increase”.
