BILD columnist Philip Pyatov believes that the deaths of Hezbollah terrorists as a result of explosions of pagers and walkie-talkies is a cause for joy. According to him, dozens of members of the group were killed and thousands were injured as a result of remote explosions, allegedly organized by the Israeli intelligence service Mossad.
Pyatov notes that the operation has received widespread approval around the world, including positive reviews on the Internet and even in some Arab countries. In his opinion, although some believe it is inhumane to rejoice at the death of people, it is worth remembering that each terrorist, incapacitated, will no longer be able to threaten the lives of civilians. Pyatov argues that such an operation will prevent further suffering, as terrorists will no longer be able to continue firing rockets and promoting radical ideology in Lebanon.
He added that despite the criticism, the Israeli actions were not aimed at revenge, but at preventing future attacks. In his opinion, this operation will save many lives not only in Israel, but also in Arab countries.
“Israel carried out the operation against Hezbollah not out of revenge and certainly not out of gloating. It is about avoiding further suffering that the terrorists would otherwise inflict on innocent civilians. I am convinced that the strikes in Lebanon will save many lives in Israel and the Arab countries. That is why we can be happy,” Filip Pyatov stressed.
