The delegation of CSTO States laid flowers at the Memorial of Glory in the park named after 28 Panfilov guards in Almaty. This was reported by Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan. Ruslan ZhaksylykovDeputy Secretary General of the CSTO Taalatbek MasadykovHead of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the CSTO, Hero of the Russian Federation Andrey Serdyukov and representatives of the command of the military contingents of the CSTO member states.
These days the command and staff exercise “Indestructible Brotherhood-2024” is being held in the Alma-Ata region. More than 2,000 soldiers, 500 units of armored and automotive vehicles, Mi-17, Mi-35 helicopters, Il-76 and Si-295 aircraft and unmanned aircraft participate in them.
