The Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, met with the Minister of the Environment, Nilda da Mata, and the Minister of Planning, Finance and the Blue Economy, Ginesio da Mata, of the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe.

It was reported that the meeting discussed the development of bilateral economic relations, highlighted the importance of expanding the use of alternative energy sources and formulating sustainable trade strategies.
The parties examined the opportunities available for the promotion of economic relations between our countries and discussed the issues of cooperation in the field of agriculture, industry and renewable energy. Several proposals have been put forward regarding priorities for joint action.
