It was organized by the Secretariat of Science and Technology in collaboration with the INTA Quimilí Experimental Station on the grounds of the Quimilí Rural Society.
The Secretary of Science and Technology, Agr. Ing., was part of the meeting. Adrian Suarez; the Director of Science and Technology, Ing. Edmundo Vizgarra Gomez; the Director of EEA Quimilí, Agr. Ing. Gustavo Gerlero; the President of the Rural Society of the Northwest of Santiagueño Marcelo Herasimchuk, who facilitated the use of the facilities for the meeting. In addition, the technical staff of the Secretariat of Science and Technology, INTA, representatives of organizations, institutions and local producers were present.
The Strategic Plan for Science, Innovation and Technology of Santiago del Estero -PECIT- is a guiding document for the creation of public policies in science, innovation and technology, with regional, national and international integration, based on a sustainable development model. It is the product of inter-institutional collaboration, public and private sectors, led by the Secretary of Science and Technology, with the support of the Integrated System of Science, Innovation and Technology and within the framework of the Objectives of the Bicentennial of the Province. Autonomy, with the participation of more than 35 institutions and more than 170 specialists.
