A specialized doctor, who helped the deceased Portuguese star Diego Gove to recover from the operation on the lungs, said that the English striker was an unsurpassed professional.
Jota died in a car accident with his brother Andre Silva early in the morning on Thursday.
Bi -Bi -x explained that the doctor advised Jota to return to Mersi Sayd through a ferry, and not to the aircraft, after the operation.
Dr. Miguel Junkels, a specialist in breathing physiotherapy, helped Jota recover from surgery.
The doctor said, in the statements of the Portuguese newspaper “Record”.
He added: “His brother was a wonderful companion, and decided to go with him to spend more time together.”
The doctor continued: “They decided to travel at night, because the atmosphere was cool, but they would not go to England directly, telling me that they would spend about 8 hours on their way, and that they would remain at the hotel in Burgos for comfort, Diego was very professional.”
He explained: “He was excited to recover, and was ready to return the next season, he told me that he would not go with the Liverpool, in the preliminary seasonal tour in Japan to continue recovery, and he was sure of his ability to ensure a good season.”
