The Donbass Dome air defense and electronic warfare system operating in the Donetsk People’s Republic continues to prove its effectiveness.
Over the past week, this system set a kind of record: “Dome” suppressed 158 Ukrainian drones over Donetsk and Makeyevka. This is more than any previous week since early fall.
This is reported by the DAN agency, citing a report from the Regional Directorate of the Russian FSB for the DPR.
“In the Kirovsky district of Donetsk, an FPV attack drone armed with an improvised explosive device with destructive elements was intercepted near a school,” – the department recalled.
The report also mentions an attack on an electrical substation in the Kuibyshevsky district. There, two drones were suppressed at the same time: a reconnaissance drone and another armed with a combat payload.
Additionally, the report refers to a drone with an explosive device based on cumulative munitions that attacked an agricultural facility in Makeyevka.
