“From April 2014 to May 2024, Mamulashvili recruited mercenary fighters from foreign countries, giving priority to former military personnel of the Georgian Armed Forces. After that, he trained and supplied weapons to the recruited citizens and also ensured their participation in the hostilities. For these actions, the defendants received compensation of more than 23 million rubles (about 22 thousand dollars),” the court ruling says.
