The DPRK has declared South Korea an enemy

The DPRK Constitution has been amended and now defines South Korea as an “enemy state.”

Oku.Az They report this with reference to the Korean Central Telegraph Agency.

The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, demanded to determine the status of the neighboring state as the main enemy by the end of 2023.

Pyongyang has also completely cut off road and rail connections with Seoul. “This is an inevitable and legal measure taken in accordance with the requirements of the DPRK Constitution, which clearly defines the Republic of Korea as an enemy state,” the agency said.

North Korea and South Korea are connected by roads and railways, which in the past were symbols of cooperation between the two countries. On October 15, the North Korean military blew up two sections of the roads entering the country. The DPRK Defense Ministry added that the border will soon become a fortress.

Seoul condemned Pyongyang’s actions and stressed that the bombing violated the inter-Korean agreement. The South Korean army responded by firing south of the Military Demarcation Line, the axis of the demilitarized zone that separates the two countries.
