The Dutch mosque Imam showed after a meeting with the President of Israel in Jerusalem

Jerusalem – The Dutch priest was removed from his mosque after a meeting with Israel President Isaac Herzog as part of a delegation of Muslim figures from Europe who visited a colonial country. Yusef Msibikh is a priest in the Bilal mosque in the city of Alkmar, the North Netherlands.

Yusef Msibikh was among the 15 Muslim preachers who met the Duke in Jerusalem on Monday (7/7/2025).

During the meeting, MSIBIH sang a song that rewritten the Israeli state anthem in Arabic.

The Bilal mosque announced on Tuesday morning that Masbe was suspended “immediately.”

“After the recent political statement of the priest, the Council decided to immediately suspend him,” said the mosque in a statement loaded on Instagram.

The mosque emphasized: “Until now, the institution has no relationship with it.”

The visit was held by Elnet, NGO, which tried to strengthen the relationship between Israel and Europe.

On Monday, the group visited the Israeli parliament, as well as Muslim, Christian and Jewish places located in the Old City in Eastern Jerusalem.

On weekends, they will visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Celebration Center, will meet with the Israeli military representative in the Arabic region of Avicha Adrai and visit the fall of Iranian ballistic missiles in Tel Aviv.
