The emotional gratitude of a Valencian child recharges the energy of Canarian firefighters

The firefighters of Gran Canaria and the rest of the team present in Valencia received a “wonderful detail” that filled their hearts. The Canarian deployment deployed in the Dana recovery work in Valencia recharges with energy thanks to the small and large gestures of neighbors.

The troops deployed in the area will also continue the removal of debris, mud and garbage from the streets of localities in Sector 4 Alfafar-Massanassa.

THE amplifier which landed in Huelva, with the deployment of a Light Forward Command Post (PMA) of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES), a rapid intervention vehicle of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), four vehicles of the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium and six soldiers belonging to these emergency services. This second part of the operation traveled by boat from Gran Canaria to Huelva and then by road to Valencia, where they arrived yesterday afternoon.

In addition, the relief troops are already on the way with 11 firefighters from Tenerife, as well as 9 members from Brifor, leaving today Thursday for Valencia to relieve the team from Tenerife which has been in the affected area since last Sunday.

The emergency device sent by the Government of the Canary Islands to Valencia is made up of a total of 70 soldiers firefighter consortia from Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES), the Forest Fire Intervention and Reinforcement Teams (EIRIF) and the Forest Fire Reinforcement Brigades (BRIFOR) ) of the Cabildo de Tenerife, as well as with a doctor and two nurses from the Canary Islands Emergency Service and the Canary Islands Health Service (SCS).
