Judge provisionally dismisses Sumar’s former spokesperson and suspends his statement as investigator and that of Mouliaá as witness
Plaintiff’s lawyer requests suspension of trial deadlines due to advanced pregnancy
The judge who opened an investigation against Sumar’s former spokesperson, Íñigo Errejón, for the alleged crime of sexual assault following the complaint filed against him by actress Elisa Mouliaá, agreed to provisionally close the case after having suspended the procedural acts and deadlines at the request of the plaintiff’s lawyer. Neither she will testify tomorrow as a witness, nor he as an investigator, as planned.
Mouliaá’s lawyer requested the suspension of the deadlines given her advanced state of pregnancy so that time does not work against the plaintiff in the face of a possible statute of limitations. Judge Alfredo Carretero agreed to suspend the deadlines and also decided to temporarily archive the case.
Last week, the president of the Investigating Court 47 of Madrid, Adolfo Carretero, already postponed for a few days the statements, which were scheduled for this Tuesday. Mouliaá was first summoned as a witness and an hour later Errejón was summoned as an investigator.
