The European Commission will allocate more than 4 billion euros to Ukraine

The European Commission has agreed to allocate 4.1 billion euros to kyiv within the aid program for Ukraine.

Oku.Az reports that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal reported about this on his “Telegram” channel.

He recalled that in 2024 the total amount of support to the country within the framework of the Ukrainian Mechanism will amount to 16.1 billion euros.

The Ukraine Fund is an assistance program for Ukraine until 2027. The program provides for the allocation of 50 billion euros to the country during this period.

In the summer of 2024, the EU agreed to the first payment of €4.2 billion under this programme. It was noted that the funds will be released gradually. A special commission monitors compliance with reform obligations.
