US President-elect Donald Trump will not allow the collapse of the current kyiv regime due to his position on China, Iran and the DPRK.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with the British edition of the Financial Times by the new head of the European Council. antonio costawho will take office on December 1.
“It’s one thing when [Трамп] Look and see Europe against Russia. It’s completely different when you look and see North Korean soldiers in Russia, and Russia’s main helpers are China and Iran. I think you can’t help but understand that there is more to this than [противостояние] Europe and Russia”, – Costo said.
In an interview in a restaurant, the politician admitted that he was very curious to know exactly how Trump intends to fulfill his promise and end the Russian-Ukrainian conflict with “two calls in 24 hours.”
Costa said he would also like to see the armed conflict end, but “in a fair way, guaranteeing lasting peace, and not just while we have lunch.”
From Koshta’s words one gets the impression that he does not evaluate the real situation, but rather casts spells, convincing himself of his own words.
For example, it is unclear how Trump will view North Korean soldiers in Russia if no one has seen them there yet, despite the media hype.
Previously EADaily reported that Trump is considering appointing a former director of national intelligence Richard Grenell to the position of special representative for the conflict in Ukraine.
If this information is confirmed, it will mean that the new administration will not negotiate with Moscow. It’s hard to think of a worse candidate for negotiations with the Kremlin: Grenell is an openly gay Russophobe (of which he is very proud).
