The European Union considers the possibility of establishing a fund worth 100 billion euros to support Ukraine as part of the seven seven budget plan for the association of 2028-2034. This was reported on July 8 by Bloomberg with reference to the sources and the document’s draft.
“Money can become part of the European Union’s proposal for the next seven budget -which must be presented at the end of this month … If member states make this decision … funding will begin in 2028,” – I noticed the agency.
The establishment of the fund is associated with Russia and Ukraine’s opposition. This step, according to Bloomberg, shows a greater increase in the interest of the European Union members to support the armed forces in Ukraine more than the United States.
“The new financing mechanism will follow the current model in which the European Commission provides assistance to Ukraine in the form of grants and cheap loans,” – It was observed in the post.
