On the sixth day of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Baku, another event took place in the Green Zone.
Oku.Az informs that the purpose of the event “Leaders of Tomorrow: Official Youth Dialogue at COP29” is to bring together young delegations from different countries and share best practices at the national level on the youth-climate agenda.
Young people from different countries around the world participated in the event and shared presentations and brief information about the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) agenda.
It was noted that this interactive event provides an opportunity for young leaders to share best practices and official youth policy with each other. Thus, the promotion of direct dialogue between young representatives aims to strengthen the joint efforts of the new generation of leaders against climate change at the regional and global level.
The event was also attended by the president of the Azerbaijan State Oil Company, Rovshan Najaf.
