The awards ceremony took place during the gala dinner of the FEFE One Day event, organized for the benefit of the National Institute of Rare Diseases.

The FEFE recognition for the best training initiative was awarded to Faes Farma. Charo Fernándezdirector of the professional, business and associate banking groups of Banco Sabadell, presented the recognition to Judith Florezmarketing director of Faes Farma. The best commercial initiative went to Unifarco and the recognition was given by Iwan ZwickCEO and founder of Gollmann, collected by Jordi Bellmuntgeneral director of Unifarco. Maria Jose Garciavice-president of the FEFE and president of the Recognition Commission, opened the ceremony by emphasizing the growing importance of these awards in the pharmaceutical sector: “We are here today to reward the laboratories which, throughout the year, have demonstrated an unfailing commitment to the Spanish Pharmacy Model. It is a unique model which positions us as a leader in accessibility and in direct patient care. In this third edition of the FEFE recognitions, we have not only tripled the participation in voting, but we have managed to consolidate these recognitions as a reference in the sector.

María José also highlighted the importance of the criteria used to select the award-winning laboratories: “We reward initiatives that enhance the capillarity of pharmacies – more than 22,000 spread throughout Spain – and that promote physical sales, respect the policies fair purchasing practices, and above all, they emphasize the training of pharmacists to improve patient care.
