The chemist and founder of the brand that bears her name, Ana Maria LajusticiaHa dead in Barcelona at the age of 100, as the company reported this Thursday in a press release.
“On this day we deeply regret the death of Ana María Lajusticia at the age of 100. We say goodbye with love and deep admiration to this exceptional scientist, pioneer in the introduction of magnesium as a key dietary supplement”, explains the company, currently led by Anna Solé, Ana María’s trusted person for over 30 years, and his son Manel Feliu Lajusticia, founder and president of Distribuciones Feliu, SL.

Lajusticia was born in Bilbao on July 26, 1924 and in 1947 he graduated in chemical sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid.
In 1980 creation of the food supplement brand which bears his name, whose objective is to offer “the nutrients difficult to find in today’s food, through specific chemical formulations at affordable prices, always seeking the best for the consumer”.
The company expressed its “deepest condolences and all its love and affection to his family, friends and all his colleagues”.
