The writer participated this weekend in the Cervantes Days organized in Castro del Río
The Spanish writer, journalist and academic Arturo Pérez-Reverte traveled this weekend to the province of Córdoba to participate in the Cervantes Days which took place in Castro del Río, where the writer was responsible for opening the meeting .
The author of “The Queen of the South” also took the opportunity to take a walk around the capital with his friend Jesús Vigorra, who was responsible for hosting the aforementioned meeting in the city of Castro, as has been confirmed on different social networks.
It was Vigorra himself who shared a beautiful ‘selfie’ accompanied by Pérez-Reverte in front of the most famous hat shop in Cordoba: Rusi. Both, smiling, pose with a chapeo from the popular store, located opposite the Luján slope.
But this was not the popular author’s only stop in the capital. Although no graphic document exists, the writer had lunch at restaurant El Churrasco, according to several witnesses. Pérez-Reverte preferred to go unnoticed and taste the best-known dishes of this traditional cuisine establishment, a temple of local gastronomy.
