Baku TV prepared a report about Anar Aliyev, one of our historical heroes, a martyr of the Patriotic War.
On October 21, 2020, Anar Aliyev, Lieutenant Colonel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, received two gunshot wounds in the village of Tugh, Khojavend, and was martyred.
The martyr’s father, Vagif Aliyev, said he was proud to speak about his son on the day of the city of Kalbajar and spoke about A. Aliyev’s war path.
“On the 13th day of the Patriotic War, Anar entered the battlefield directly from Fuzuli with special forces. His work in reaching the heights is undeniable. He played an important role in the capture of Khojaven, including Hadrut. According to his comrades, Anar “He did not give a single martyr until he was martyred,” he stated.
