The Chess Federation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has ceased its activities.
APA reports that during this period, the federation, which has been in operation since 2002, has produced title-winning chess players, European champions and laureates, multiple Azerbaijani champions, and chess players who have won numerous international chess tournaments in Nakhchivan. To date the Federation has ceased to function and has been dissolved.
It should be noted that the president of the Chess Federation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was Seymur Talibov.
It should be noted that Seymur Talibov is the son of Vasif Talibov, former speaker of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan MR.
