The “forger” for hire Alvise Perez pocketed €100,000 given to him by a financier under investigation

He forger on the salary of Alvise Perezinstalled in the European Parliament after founding the Se Acabó la Fiesta party and winning a seat in the European Parliament elections last June, he pocketed 100,000 euros in cash that he received, in handof a financier who is under investigation for the activities of the company Madeira Invest Club, which in turn sponsored Alvise.

He was the founder of the Madeira Invest Club, Alvaro Romillo (alias Luis Cryptospain) who revealed this cash payment, which would therefore have been made outside the accounting control that the law imposes on political parties.

Harassed by the suspicions that weigh on this financial club, which surprisingly closed last week, leaving hundreds affectedRomillo sent a letter to the prosecutor’s office in which he provided financial details that were very compromising for Alvise and in which, in addition, he informed him that he wanted to collaborate with justice and that he was willing to liquidate his assets to compensate, as far as possible, the hundreds of victims left behind by Madeira Invest Club.

These 100,000 euros were pocketed by forger Alvise Pérez was hired on May 27. That is, in the middle of the electoral campaign that led, a few days later, to the elections in which he achieved his goal of becoming a Member of the European Parliament. From the story told by Luis Romillo, it is clear that Alvise Pérez wanted this money both to finance the campaign and to cover, without harm to his private pocket, the promise he had made to give up his salary as a Member of the European Parliament because he would make a donation through a raffle.

“As I am going to give up 100% of my public salary, it is also good for me to finance the political adventure”wrote the forger Alvise to Romillo, as is clear from the documentation provided to the prosecution by this financier and revealed by Eldiario.es.

The 100,000 euros in cash were handed over to Alvise by Romillo at the headquarters of the company Sentinel BQ in central Madrid, which also belongs to Luis Romillo, according to the version he gave to the prosecution.

The Law on the Financing of Political Parties and the regulations that specifically govern electoral processes pursue the management of black money or money that each political party does not officially account for. This is an essential rule to ensure not only fair competition between candidates but also to prevent fraudulent monetary operations. Thus, the parties must present specific accounting detailing their income and expenses for each electoral campaign, in addition to the accounting of the political party in its ordinary activity. These accounts are audited by the Court of Auditors.

The story Romillo told the Prosecutor’s Office would directly indicate that Alvise Pérez sought to have the delivery made unofficially, without being registered or leaving any trace, precisely – among other reasons – to remain out of reach of the Court of Accounts.
