The former deputy chief executive was fitted with an electronic bracelet

The trial of Ayyub Azizov, former deputy director of Zardab, has ended.

Qafqazinfo reports that the freedom of the former official convicted under Article 188.3 of the Criminal Code has been restricted for three years.

Azizov, sentenced to an electronic bracelet, violated the right to own, use or lease land.

Thus, he owned approximately 186 hectares of land in the area of the village of Challi, Zardab region. The accused cultivated these plots himself and rented them out to other people. Eyyub Azizov was not satisfied with his 186 hectares of land, but also plowed and planted on land belonging to the municipality of the village of Challi. This is 4.21 hectares of land previously rented to Ilgar Bunyatov, a resident of that village.

The thing is that Ilgar Bunyatov’s contract with the village municipality was later terminated and that land was allocated as a grazing land for the villagers. However, Ayyub Azizov, seeing that Ilgar Bunyatov had given him the land, cultivated and planted the field by himself for two years. Finally, in 2023, when he tried to plow the land again and plant barley, the villagers and law enforcement agencies stopped his action.

It should be noted that Ayyub Azizov was also the chairman of the Challi municipality in the period 2010-2015.
