The criminal case against former lawyer Ruhid Rashid oglu Akbarov, accused of numerous frauds, has been concluded.
According to APA, the verdict was handed down at the Baku Court of Serious Crimes in a trial presided over by Azad Majidov.
According to the verdict, Ruhid Akbarov was sentenced to 6 years and 4 months in prison. He was detained in the courtroom.
It should be noted that Ruhid Akbarov was charged under Article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code.
Previously, R. Akbarov, a lawyer from Law Firm No. 13, was arrested for 3 years in 2021 on charges of defrauding two people of 50,000 manats.
