Sulyman Bamba, former defender for the Ivory Coast national football team, has died at the age of 39.

Bamba was admitted to hospital due to his health condition before the match (0-0) against Manisa in the Turkish championship (first league) held on August 30.
It should be noted that during his career Bamba also played for French PSG, Italian Palermo, Turkish Trabzonspor, English Leicester and Leeds. He played 44 games for Ivory Coast and scored 1 goal. In 2012, Bamba was a silver medalist at the African Cup of Nations with the national team.
