Labora, the Valencian Employment and Training Service, will carry out a selection in September among people under 30 years of age for fill 104 qualified positions in public sector companies of the Generalitat Valenciana: engineers, health workers, architects and senior technical personnel are required.
The “president” of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, announced this Sunday that with this research, the Consell activates a new plan to promote youth employment, through Labora, for the hiring of young people in the public sector of the Generalitat “in the Valencian Government’s commitment to attracting talent and promoting youth employment.
Mazón stressed that, thanks to this program, “people who meet the professional profile required for each position will be able to obtain a 10-month training contract to live their first professional experience in the public sector.”
To participate in this process, which is part of the Youth Employment Plan, it is essential that candidates apply register as a job seeker at Labora and register their qualifications, as reported by the Generalitat in a press release.

The head of the Council stressed that these hirings will allow “young people to access a first professional experience in the discipline for which they were trained, thus promoting their integration into the job market. “In addition, this will allow these young people to have contact with the public sector and to know the professional opportunities they can find there,” he added.
The required profiles are diplomas from the fields of Arts and Letters, Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Legal Sciences, Agri-Food and Forestry Engineering and Architecture, Architecture, Civil Engineering and Building, Sciences and Technologies for Health, Industrial and Aeronautics, Information and communication technologies, management and doctorates in the fields of agri-food and biotechnology, architecture, art, sciences, economics and social sciences, civil engineering, industrial engineering and ICT.
Selection process
Young people interested in accessing one of these positions must present between September 2nd and 15th his application for this position. The Labora website explains how the application can be submitted.
From the 23rd, the people selected to occupy the different positions will be informed by email of their selection, it is therefore essential that the e-mail of claimants appears correctly in their claim form in Labora.
These contracts are financed by the European Union through the extraordinary funds of the National Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, approved to combat the effects of the pandemic and whose objectives also include promoting the integration of young people into the labour market, since the youth unemployment rate is very high in Europe, but particularly high in Spain.
