The Generalitat is strengthening the bus fleet to offer, from this Monday, a total of 19 replacement lines metro service Metrovalence. Thus, four new bus lines, in addition to those put into service this week, will facilitate the connectivity of municipalities such as Torrent, Llíria, Paterna or L’Eliana with Valencia to guarantee the mobility of citizens after the temporary suspension. of the Metrovalencia service by DANA.
The creation of this service was possible thanks to the arrival of 40 buses from Community of Madridwhich will be integrated this Monday in the different lines. The additional fleet now amounts to 70 vehicles, which also makes it possible to strengthen the service of the other shuttles launched throughout this week. In total, 19 lines will provide service from Monday.
The service at Torrentwith a single stop in the municipality, at the Metrovalencia Torrent Avinguda station, will have a total of 25 exclusive vehicles and four other stops at different points in Valencia. The new L’Eliana line will also have a single stop and a direct connection with three points in Valencia, while the Paterna line will have three stops in the city and three more in the capital. For their part, Llíria buses will also serve Benissanó and Pobla de Vallbona.
The new services permitted by the Generalitat are in addition to the existing ones and replace those provided by Metrovalencia and will connect to Valencia with connection points EMT and Metrobús stop so that users can continue their usual trips. From Monday, some shuttle services like those of Paiporta and Picanya will vary since they will now have three stops in Valencia and will head to more central points.
On the other hand, the different substitution lines of L3 of Metrovalencia are reorganized into two new ones: Rafelbunyol-La Pobla de Farnals-Massamagrell-Museros-Valencia and Meliana-Foios-Albalat dels Sorells-Valencia. The novelty is that the connection will be direct with Valencia and it will not be necessary to transfer and use the Cercanías service as until now. In addition, other recent lines are reinforced, such as the Riba-roja corridor which serves Mislata, Quart and Manises, and the 423 Las Aldeas de la Vega-Requena is recovered with some route variants.
