The Generalitat restricts mobility in Valencia to facilitate DANA’s emergency work

The Generalitat Valenciana accepted restrict THE traffic of vehicles individuals on the access roads to the municipalities most affected by DANA in the Valencian Community, as announced this Friday by the Minister of Infrastructure, Vicente Martinez Mus.

The roads concerned are the entrances and exits of the municipalities to and from the V-31 in its entirety, with the exception of the entrance to the town of Valence; and the entrances and exits of the municipalities of kilometer 0 of the V-30 – the Port– at kilometer 9, which coincides with the accesses to the A-3, in both directions, except at the entrance to the capital of Turia.

In addition, traffic will be prohibited on CV-33, between Alba And Torrent; the CV-36, between Valencia and the bypass; CV-366, southern access to Torrent; the CV-400 between Valencia and Albal; the CV-403, between Xirivelle and torrent; the CV-407, between Picanya And Sedavi; and the CV-410, between Alaquas and the Bonaire shopping center.

On these roads, the circulation of any transport vehicle is restricted except for assistance to centers, services and health facilitiesrespect for work obligations, professional, commercial, institutional or legal or return to the place of habitual or family residence.

Exceptionally, vehicle circulation will be authorized to help and care to people elderly, minor, dependentpeople with disability or particularly vulnerable people. Apart from these restrictions, urgent actions are also required before public judicial or notarial bodies or those due to a case of force majeure or a situation of necessity. And finally, any other activity of the same nature, duly accredited.

The advisor stressed that it is “important” to channel and be as effective as possible “to attend THE misfortune that the Community is suffering”, a particular context in which “the way of organizing it requires that these measures be more effective”, he reiterated.

Martínez Mus expressed his desire that these measures “serve what they should serve and what they were designed to do, that is, to be able to assume as quickly as possible the conservation and use of the roads in order to to be more effective and more fast in the measures of emergency that are taken, cleaning, removal of vehicles, etc.,” he added.

Likewise, he thanked the availability and dedication of those who joined the relief efforts for those affected and recalled that “the system of all people who want to collaborate is already channeled, at the Center of Coordination of the Volunteering» located on the ground floor of the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum.
