The ‘glam metal’ series, “Nothing But Good Times: The Uncensored History of ’80s Hair Metal” arrives in September

Paramount+ has released the official preview for the documentary series “Nothing But Good Times: The Uncensored History of ’80s Hair Metal” and announced that it will premiere on September 17 in the United States and Canada. The following day, it will be available in other international markets on the same platform.

The series was made Jeff Tremaine (“Jackass”, “The dirt”) and in three chapters he shows the phenomenon of hard rockin particular what is called metal hairthat so triumphed in the eighties. There are interviews with Bret Michaels (Poison), Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), Dave ‘Snake’ Sabo (Skid Row) and Riki Rachtman (MTV’s “Headbangers Ball”), among others. Musicians outside the genre also appear to give their opinions, such as Slipknot’s Corey Taylor.

Bret Michaels commented: “It is an honor for me to be part of this project docu-series named after Poison’s hit song “Nothin’ but a good time.” I can’t wait for viewers to get a new look at these fans and bands, their ups and downs, and celebrate the music and good times of the ’80s. “I hope the audience enjoys it as much as I do, and I can’t wait to see some of those crazy moments!”

The director, Tremainesaid: “This docu-series It’s a celebration of the most scandalous decade in history. rock and roll. “This is my love letter to the 80s.”
