The political forces agree and demand the suspension of the government control session this Wednesday at the Congress of Deputies before the crisis generated by DANA which already leaves at least fifty and fifty dead in the Valencian Community. Once the session opened and certain questions were asked of the government, it was first the spokesperson for the Popular Party (PP), Miguel Tellado, who proposed suspending the plenary session. He was followed by the spokesperson of the socialist group, Patxi López, and later by the deputy deputy of Sumar, Àgueda Micó i Micó.
In response to this request, the president of the Congress Council, Francina Armengol, suspended the session to meet with the Council of Spokespersons and thus decide “among all” the suspension of the control session. However, Armengol wanted to clarify that before the start of the plenary session, no political force had made this request to the Presidency of the Chamber, beyond the minute of silence which took place at the beginning.
