The Government insists on the reform of temporary sick leave with gradual reintegration after discharge

The Ministry of Social Security has qualified its position by speaking of gradual reintegration of the worker into their position once dismissed, instead of flexible leave, to address the reform of temporary disability (IT) which is underway. Pensions Department sources insist on not talking about flexibility or the term “flexible leave” to introduce the possibility of reconfiguring IT with a gradual reintegration not envisaged today. They also argue that the reform debate does not focus on increased spending due to temporary disability.

Today, for the first time, the Government has convened the temporary incapacity work committee which will prepare, in addition to the aforementioned sick leave reform, the regulatory evolution of the reduction coefficients in the event of early retirement for professional reasons and the agreement between mutual societies. and the Autonomous Communities (CCAA).
