The government will build 150 housing units in Castile and León on the Sareb land

In this forum, he explained that a first phase was submitted to a call for tenders which will involve the construction, throughout the country, of some 3,800 housing units and that “approximately 3 to 4 percent of these affordable housing units” during this first phase will be built in the Community.

During his speech, he also detailed the effects of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan in Castile and León. who received almost “4 billion” through the direct execution of the General Administration of the State, “around 2.3 billion” and the funds allocated to the Regional Government, “around 1.6 billion”.

“The plan in Castilla y León has more than 46,500 beneficiaries, 56 percent of them, more than the national average, are SMEs and microSMEs, thus contributing to this element of territorial cohesion and regional development,” he quantified.

The minister went on to say that Castilla y León benefited in “strategic” areas linked to the “double transition, climate and digital, with a point, with a very important vector of reindustrialization”. Thus, he mentioned that the LOSS for renewable energies finances projects in the Community worth 108 million and that industrial decarbonization has provided funds worth 24 million.
