At the conference convened by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda, the distribution of state resources to finance the youth housing bonus program for the year 2024 was approved thus, pending approval by the Council of Ministers on the dates of upcoming events. specified, the Directorate of Housing, Territory and Mobility has already announced that it could begin to prepare the appeal for thishelpline for 2024 and 2025, facing its approval and publication during the first quarter of next year.
The Balearic Islands will receive a total of 4.8 million euros for this aid in 2024 in the new appeal, the same annual amount as the previous 2022-2023 appeal, according to the territorial distribution communicated by the Ministry of Housing and Development. The amount of aid can be up to 250 euros per month for two years and young people with a monthly rent of up to 900 euros in the Balearic Islands can opt, in accordance with the requirements set by the ministry. To the previous call for the Young Rental Bonus 2022-2023, the Government of the Balearic Islands adds nine payment resolutions for a total amount of 6.5 million euros, or approximately 1,400 beneficiaries (1,379).
