A 4.7 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Turkish province of Rize.

The epicenter of the earthquake recorded in the Hemshin region was located at a depth of about 12 kilometers.
Before that, earthquakes of magnitude 4.9 were recorded in Doganşehir.
It was determined that the earthquake occurred at a depth of seven kilometers. The earthquake was also felt in Adiyaman, Kahramanmaras, Gaziantep and Sanliurfa.
No one was injured, no damage was reported.
