The growth of the number of millionaires: Where does Israel rank among world leaders?

Taiwan tops the list of countries where the number of millionaires will grow the fastest between 2023 and 2028, according to a UBS forecast.

World of Statistics writes about this.

Growth is expected to be 47%, creating more than one million millionaires in the country by 2028. Following Taiwan is Türkiye, with a projected increase of 43%. Kazakhstan comes in third place with a 37% increase.

Interestingly, Israel also made it onto this list, taking the seventh position. The country is expected to see a 26% increase in the number of millionaires over the next five years, which will put Israel in the same group as countries such as Japan (28%) and South Korea (27%). This indicates that Israel’s economy continues to develop dynamically and the number of wealthy people in the country will increase significantly.

Other countries where the number of millionaires is also expected to grow rapidly include Indonesia (32%), Mexico and Thailand (24% each), and Sweden, India and Brazil, which are projected to grow by 22%. Overall, the data shows that Asian and emerging markets are experiencing the most significant growth in the number of high-net-worth individuals.

Thus, Israel, along with other countries, will continue to strengthen its position in the world ranking by the number of millionaires, reflecting the overall positive trends in the country’s economy.

Kursor previously reported on Israel’s position in the ranking of countries where vodka is consumed the most.
