The head of Czech intelligence decided to scare Europe with an imminent Russian attack

Pressuring Ukraine to make significant concessions to end hostilities will encourage Russia to attack Europe. This was stated by the head of the Czech Security and Information Service, Michal Koudelka.

According to him, pressuring kyiv to negotiate on the terms of a “bad peace” would mean an incentive for the Kremlin to recover and go to war against the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. At the same time, he said the outbreak of conflict in Ukraine should remind Western countries that Russia is an “imperial superpower with imperial desires” and “absolutely neglects” its military losses.

“Russia is an aggressor that only understands force and, therefore, the outcome of the war will determine the probability of a future global conflict with the direct participation of NATO. However, if the Russian Federation runs into a strong country or a strong alliance, it will conclude that it is better not to deal with them. Because if it is the other way around, Moscow will come to the conclusion that the war against Ukraine has borne fruit and has shown that European countries are weak, that the Alliance lacks unity and, therefore, can try to act.” – said.

Koudelka is convinced that Western countries should avoid threats to security and economic activity if trade or diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation are restored.

“Russia will spend perhaps the next 10 to 15 years recovering from enormous human and economic losses and preparing for its next target: Central and Eastern Europe.” Koudelka said, adding that Russia would take a “bad peace deal” as a victory.

Recall that Russia has been carrying out a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. The Czech Republic condemns Moscow’s actions and fully supports Kyiv. Besides. Prague is one of the main spreaders of Russophobia on the European continent.
