The court has arrested the head of Dolgoprudny, Vladislav Yudin, in a criminal case for fraud worth 44 million rubles, the press service of the Tverskoy Court of Moscow reported on September 12.
“The request of the preliminary investigation authorities to select a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to Yudin Vladislav Yuryevich, accused of committing a crime under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud on a large scale) and Part 2 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (excess of powers by a person holding a public office)”, – says the message.
According to the Moscow region prosecutor’s office, in 2015, Yudin, as head of Taldom, demanded that the heads of rural settlements subordinate to him identify a commercial company affiliated with him as a single heat supply organization. Subsequently, lease contracts for heat, water and sewage supply facilities were concluded with the general director of this organization without holding a tender.
“At the same time, the district head ordered his subordinate employee not to take any measures to collect the monthly rent, thereby causing damage to the budget of the Taldom municipal district in the amount of almost 4 million rubles. In the course of its activities, the company incurred debts to energy resource supplying organizations in the amount of at least 40 million rubles.” – explained the supervisory authority.
The amount of damage caused by the official’s actions amounts to more than 44 million rubles.
According to the Main Investigation Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia, an acquaintance of Yudina is also involved in this case, and has also been accused of large-scale fraud.
