Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi flew to Moscow along with a delegation to attend the sixth meeting of the Moscow Format on Afghanistan. This was announced today, October 2, by the Ministry’s deputy press secretary, Zia Ahmad Takal, Ariana News reports.
The Russian Foreign Ministry sent an official invitation to Muttaki. Muttaqi is expected to discuss bilateral issues with the Russian Foreign Minister. Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of the Oct. 4 meeting, Takal said.
