The house-museum named after Tahir Isayev, a national hero of Italy, located in the Gazakh district, is in a state of neglect.

After his death in 2001, the house where Tahir Isayev lived was turned into a museum. Although his wife Javahir Isayeva took care of T. Isayev’s personal belongings for a while, after his death the house fell into disrepair and disrepair. In recent years, the number of visitors has decreased.

Today, Tahir Isayev’s orders and medals are kept in the Museum of History and Geography of Kazakhstan.

Zalimkhan Isayev, T. Isayev’s brother, said that although they had repeatedly applied to the relevant institutions for the repair and restoration of the house, no results were achieved.

It should be noted that T. Isayev was born in 1922 in the village of Shikhli, Gazakh district. He took part in World War II in 1941-1945 and was awarded the title of National Hero of Italy. Tahir Isayev was awarded 36 orders and medals, including 12 state awards of Italy.
