The wife of the blogger and founder of the “marathons of desires” Elena Blinovskaya, Alexei, was detained in the area of a special military operation, RIA Novosti reports, citing a law enforcement source.
“Blinovsky was arrested” — said the publication’s interlocutor.
He did not provide any details of the arrest.

According to investigators, Blinovskaya, through her husband, evaded paying taxes in the amount of 906 million rubles. They later legalized part of these funds in the amount of 706 million rubles.
After the final charges were filed, the couple had to familiarize themselves with the materials of the criminal case. However, almost immediately after that, information appeared that Blinovsky went to the zone of a special military operation, signing a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Blinovsky’s colleague, former lawyer Elman Pashaev He said that the wife of the marathon runner was transferred to the assault unit in May of this year. As part of the 5th separate motorized rifle brigade, she took part in the battles near Krasnogorovka.
On June 28 this year, Blinovsky was put on the wanted list under an article of the Criminal Code. It turned out that the person involved in the criminal case does not appear for investigation and is not familiar with the materials of the criminal case.
It also became known that the Blinovsky case was divided into separate proceedings precisely because he is located in the Northern Military District.
Blinovskaya was arrested in April 2023 on suspicion of fraud for the purpose of tax evasion. For a long time, the “marathon queen” was under house arrest, but the detention measure was modified due to violations. From the moment of her arrest until now, she is in a pre-trial detention center. At one of the recent court hearings, her detention period was extended by six months, until February 2, 2025. The blogger initiated her own bankruptcy proceedings.
