JAKARTA – The Commission of the House of Representatives I completed the preparatory and proper verification of 24 candidates for Ambassador (Dubes) of the Republic of Indonesia. These candidates include Indonesia Ambassador to the United States and Indonesia ambassador to the United Nations (UN).
“The results of the fit and appropriate test guarantee that 24 candidates for the ambassador submitted by the government fulfilled these requirements,” said the deputy chairman of the Commission of the House of Representatives I, the Sukakut in his statement, on Wednesday (7/7/2025).
The candidate will fill out a number of empty Indonesian ambassadors in several countries and international organizations. While some others are new ambassadors to replace whose term of office has ended.
The results of the feasibility and proper test of 24 candidates for the ambassador were presented by the Commission of the House of Representatives I in the leadership of the Indonesian parliament. In addition, the speaker of the Indonesian parliament Puan Maharani will follow the results that will be sent to President Prabovo Subanto.
“The results were immediately sent from the DPR leadership to the President,” he said.
