Thursday afternoon, the Federal Reserve decided to lower U.S. interest rates by 25 basis points, the second consecutive cut, leaving rates at 4.75%.
This Friday, we learned that the airline group that owns Iberia and Vueling, IAGincreased its profit after tax by 8.8% in the first nine months of the year compared to the same period last year, to 2,340 million euros, as the company declared in National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
Furthermore, the IAG group has also launched a share buyback program for an amount of 350 million euros with the aim of reducing its share capital.
