The Israel Defense Forces have declared three cities near the border with Lebanon a closed military zone. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post newspaper in reference to the IDF.

“After assessing the situation, the areas of Metula, Misgav Am and Kfar Giladi in northern Israel were declared a closed military zone, the IDF said Monday night.” – writes the newspaper.

The statement also says that entry to the area is prohibited.

The decision was announced in the context of the possible start of an Israeli ground operation in Lebanese territory.
