This Sunday, November 24, it is celebrated at Palau Municipal d’Esports de Son Moix THE third edition of Torneig per la Igualtat Ciutat de Palma – ConectaBalear, coinciding with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Organized by the Fundació Miquel Jaume – Palma Futsal and the Sports for Equality Association, The tournament brings together thirteen women’s futsal teams with representation from all the Balearic Islands.
This year, in addition to promoting equality in sport, the tournament will have an important solidarity aspect. All profits whose money obtained during a large solidarity raffle will be used to help Paiporta FC, a Valencian club seriously affected by the DANA disasters, to contribute to its reconstruction. ANDl Paiporta FC will also participate as a guest teamalongside Alcúdia Futsal, Sóller Futsal, Son Ferrer, Ciutat d’Inca, Cosmitos de Formentera or the Sports for Equality Association team, among others.
The day It will start at 10:30 a.m. with the first match of the group stage and end at 3:45 p.m. with the finale. Among the parallel activities, the solidarity raffle will be one of the highlights, with prizes such as balloons signed by footballers or by Vicente del Bosquethe boots Patri Guijarro And Lucie Corralesthe gloves Cata Collitems from the F League and the Futsal First Division, sports equipment from Joma and the International Women’s Institute, and the ball from the UEFA Futsal Champions League final signed by all Futsal Palma players of the Balearic Islands.
