Employees of the General Directorate of Air Transport Customs of the State Customs Committee (SCC) prevented the illegal transfer of more than 25 kg of silver across the customs border.
Oku.Az reports that the State Security Council has published information on this matter.
It was reported that suspicious images were observed during the radiological examination of the luggage of a citizen of the country who was travelling on the Baku-Istanbul flight.
During the inspection of 2 suitcases, 25 kilograms and 56 grams of silver were found, totaling 77 pieces.
The incident is being investigated.
