It has been barely 49 years since the death of dictator Francisco Franco and in two weeks the promulgation of the 1978 Constitution will be commemorated. Today’s Spain is much better than those years in terms of economic development and social, as well as the political system. , although it presents significant challenges and problems. But what would perhaps surprise supporters of the anti-Franco era the most is the absolute impunity with which, in 2024, fascism is advocated.
